Info About our Instructors

Carol Comfort is a certified Functional Medicine Health Coach and has been coaching individuals toward a healthier lifestyle since 2017.
For more information on Carol Comfort see https://carolcomfort.com/
Carol Comfort's Eat Better Feel Better cooking classes will engage and delight as together we explore new healthful recipes in a relaxed, engaging social setting.
Throughout each class, Carol shares a variety of topics related to health, including nutrition for the prevention of cancer and disease, proper sleep, movement and mindfulness, and much more.
The ambitious menu for her cooking classes involves plant-forward recipes that are as delicious as they are healthful. Each class culminates in a shared healthy meal together followed by a Q & A of topics promoting optimal health.
Participants leave with a packet of handouts including recipes with the opportunity to take notes in the class if desired.

Teri Robl is a passionate home cook with a deep love for Alaska and all things harvested, caught and raised here- including her kids and grandkids. She wrote the food column for the Homer News for 12 years and had a blast as a frequent guest on KBBI's "Check the Pantry" in the past. Teri collects cookbooks and spends way too much time at the grocery store and shopping on-line for hard to find ingredients and spices. Instructing fun and interesting cooking classes is her favorite way to share the experiences and tastes she enjoyed from her latest travels, whether she went to Morocco, Wisconsin or across Kachemak Bay.
